Booking Facilities at The Crossing

Thank you for your interest in using The Crossing Community Centre for your gathering. We appreciate there are lots of places which you could choose. Our hope is that The Crossing is more than just space to use but somewhere that becomes the heart of our community.

It's a place to meet and gather, to celebrate and remember alongside others in business, in community and as family - this form is to help you provide us with all of the relevant information to secure a booking at the best price we can offer.

The Crossing is owned and operated by Titirangi Baptist Church and is available for weddings and tangihanga/funerals with the support of one of our pastors. Before filling this form in for these kinds of gatherings please contact: pastor@tbc.org.nz

The Community centre has a number of spaces which serve all kinds of purposes from the formal to the celebratory. Please note that The Crossing is an alcohol, smoke, drug-free facility - this is strictly adhered to according to our kaupapa.

End time of your Event (when you want to exit the building/room) *

Tip: Please use 24 hour clock format 1pm = 13.00; 7.30pm is 19.30. Rooms can be hired Mon-Fri 07.00-22.00. The very latest you can exit the site is 10pm, all cleaning and pack up completed.

Which space suits your needs?

There are a number of spaces available. Across the three buildings, there are a number of rooms to provide space for various types of gatherings. A site visit is recommended before you make a booking.

Maximum numbers and base rate for hire are given in the details below. The bond and all hire prices quoted include GST.

Discounts are available for repeat (3+ consecutive events) and charitable/community group bookings.

The total maximum allowed on-site is 420 people.

There are a total of 58 car parks on site. Bookings of over 120 people will require a car park attendant to be on duty 45 minutes before your event begins (which is not necessarily when you arrive on-site).

The Kaurilands Centre *

The Kaurilands Auditorium and Kaurilands Hall (includes use of Kaurilands Kitchen)(300) $133.35 p/h

The Kaurilands Hall (60-120 depending on seating/tables etc; includes use of Kaurilands Kitchen) $44.10 p/h

The Kauri House *

Tip: The Kauri House is the office building on site and offers a board room with whiteboard and screen. The Toutouwai Room can be booked for counselling type meetings.
